Modern Slavery Statement

Bespoke Construction Services is committed to eliminating acts of modern-day slavery and human trafficking within our business and from within our supply chains. Our annual turnover is £48million for financial year ending 2024 and this statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Organisational Structure

Bespoke Construction Services is a privately owned construction company based in Telford, Shropshire. Our business delivers construction projects nationally within the United Kingdom. In order to fulfil its activities, our business’ main supply chains include those relating to subcontracting, procurement of goods and services and agency.

Commitment

We are committed to ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business, or in our supply chains. We acknowledge our responsibilities in relation to tackling modern slavery and commit to complying with the provisions in the Modern Slavery Act 2015. The Organisation understands that this requires an ongoing review of both its internal practices in relation to its labour force and, additionally, its supply chains. The Organisation does not enter into business with any other organisation, in the United Kingdom or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to involve itself in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.

Due Diligence

We carry out due diligence processes in relation to ensuring slavery and/or human trafficking does not take place in its organisation or supply chains, including conducting a review of the controls of its suppliers. We have not, to its knowledge, conducted any business with another organisation which has been found to have involved itself with modern slavery. In order to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within the business or the supply chain, we complete the following steps:
•Subcontractors must complete Subcontractor Pre-Qualification Questionnaire prior to engagement.
•All recruitment is through recruitment agencies who are registered with Recruitment and EmploymentConfederation
•All our supply chain is provided with a copy of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
•We provide training to all our employees to ensure that they understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chains.

Policies
Our Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our
business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human
trafficking is not taking place anywhere within our supply chains.
Our Whistleblowing Policy encourages the reporting our concerns and the protections of whisteblowers.


Effectiveness In Combating Slavery And Human Trafficking
We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking.
In order to measure our effectiveness in ensuring modern slavery is not taking place in any part of the business or supply
chains. We will continually monitor and review our internal practices and policies, which include:

  • Subcontractor prequalification questionnaires.
  • Ongoing internal employee training.
  • Supply chain ongoing review to ensure they conduct their due diligence and have a Modern Slavery and Human
    Trafficking Policy in place.
  • Communicating our policy internally and externally on an annual basis.
    This statement is made in pursuance of Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2010 and will be reviewed for each financial
    year.
